Trigger Mike Posted September 1, 2017 Share Posted September 1, 2017 watching the news about Harvey got me to thinking about how really blessed we are with so many things that we take for granted as an of course that can easily be taken away. I thought of it while in the shower after seeing someone lifted off their roof by helicopter. 1. a dry place to live 2. good roof 3. water to drink (many are without it at this hour) 4. food hot or cold including accessible fast food while restaurant in Texas sit under water unable to serve anyone 5. clear roads 6. cars and trucks that run and have not been flooded 7. The TV and radio to hear the news and the electricity it takes to run it 8. air conditioning and working refrigerator and freezer 9. I told my children this morning (to their dismay) that they should feel blessed because some in Texas can't go to school 10. clean clothes 11. a shower or bath with clean rag and towels and soap 12. no alligators swimming in our front yard or snakes or fish in our living room like the news showed in Texas 13. a clean toilet and water to flush it 14. a normal amount of sunshine and a normal amount of rain in a day. there are many other things, it would be good if we all took the time to Thank God for His blessing us with these things and that He restore it to those who have lost it and comfort those whose loved ones did not survive the storm Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
