Trigger Mike
I got an email from Ruger announcing their carbine style 10/22 with a M1 carbine stock. http://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/default.aspx?item=21138
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967
Interesting. Probably works well, but it makes me think of phony wire wheel hubcaps.
Chili Ron
Howdy, Folks have been playing with that idea for years. Somewhere around here I have a stock for a 10/22 that folds like the paratrooper carbine, sort of. Two barrel gattling ruger is what looks fun to me. Get rid of 50 rounds in the blink of an eye. Too much fun, never tried one. Best CR
Utah Bob #35998
22 m1 carbines have been around for a while. Maybe cheap to shoot but they have no allure for me. I'm sure if Ruger makes one it's good quality. https://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2012/7/10/the-citadel-m1-22/
Alpo
Looking at the picture, I'm not impressed. Only thing says "Carbine" to me is the oiler slot. The butt and buttplate looks too long. The drop of the stock is too much. The curve of the pistol grip is wrong. And the magazine's pathetic. If they redesigned the wood so it looked right, and came up with a fake 15 rounder that would clip onto the regular 10/22 mag, that MIGHT make it worthwhile. But I don't see this being a big seller. Chili Ron
Howdy, what would LOOK better is to just get a clip that joins the regular 10 shot mags at the bottom(s). I like them because they use that hard to jam factory mag x 2. That would be very inexpensive and stick down at a better angle. Best CR
Guest Grass Range #51406
Iver Johnson made this one. It is on the right with a GI version next to it.
