Keith, I never heard which hospital Parson was taken to, but I assume UMC in Jackson. I was really hoping to hear from James by now. Please call when you get an update on our beloved Parson.

Another update on Parson

"We received a message from Diamond Lilly late last night that Parson was in recovery at 6:00 p.m. Apparently, it was a very long surgery. We will keep you posted as we hear additional updates from his family. Please lift them all up in your prayers. The is a very special cowboy who has touched the lives of so many people."

Quick update from Diamond Lilly:

Parson was moved to a private room, is talking some and Ghost Raider said the docs are happy with his response to surgery.

Diamond Lilly visited Parson today.

At the hospital with Parson and his big brother George. He looks like a punk rocker with half his head shaved so he may need a new alias. Doctors are pleased with how he is doing so far, have started doing a little pt and will increase that slowly. They were able to get more of the tumor than anticipated, and will be doing chemo down the road. He is on some heavy meds right now but speech and muscle control are really good. All in all a very good result so far.

Went by University Med Center this morning. Parson was sleeping. Moved to private room. 8 1/2 hours in brain surgery. Doc thinks he got most of tumor. Going in he thought only able to get 75%. I will check on him again tomorrow. Black Cat went by and spent time with family today. Squinter, Harpe, and I were by night before surgery. He was able to talk to us about SASS. He was a little confused on what was wrong. He thought he ate something that gave him the tumor. Dead Eye Doc was going by also. Parson is very strong physically and spiritually. I believe he will be back shooting soon.
