G W Wade
Have been helping a friend fix his 73. He bought it used so he doesn't know who did the work. The track inside the link is a curved radius not a straight groove like the links we have seen from Pioneer or Cowboy & Indian. Doesn't matter, just curious. Garrison Joe, SASS #60708
Show us pics - sure would help. The curved actuation groove is used on C&I 4th Gen link kits (compare those links with C&I picture here) http://cowboysandindianstore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=28&zenid=v74mo8snhmnlathpsjtm8frla7 Any dots punched into the links? C&I does that to record lengths of links. They make several lengths to adjust headspace. Other generations of C&I links have a straight groove, IIRC Pioneer links have straight groove, both styles (std and super short) of their links. Good luck, GJ
G W Wade
That's Joe, never have seen a set of 4th gen links. Very similar, but these look like a more gradual curve. Thanks GW PS to ignorant to figure out pictures, might have to ask kids or grandkids
