Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
It strikes me odd that the cover on Battle Hymn of the Republic would feature a group of Confederate looking cavalry riders rather than the blue clad cavalry riders of the Union Army. But that is just me, I suppose.
Subdeacon Joe
I, too, noted that the imagery ran heavily towards grey-clad soldiers, and a flag with only 3 stripes, or a St. Andrews cross. A bit of irony.

Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Sorta figured that. Those confederate uniforms were a dead giveaway. But, I still think DIXIE would have been a little more in line with the photographs. Often wondered what it would be like to have a sir name of SHERMAN, and own a Demolition Company in Atlanta, Jawja.

Big Sage, SASS #49891 Life
Cause Lee ain't a Yankee is why. Oh yes he is! He was born and raised in California. Lived in Las Vegas for most of his early performing years. How do I know this....he is kin to me. His Mother and My Dad are cousins, guess that makes him my second cousin.
