The Original Lumpy Gritz
The other thing is the QC issues Kimber has had to deal with, will affect pricing. Good luck with the sale, OLG

guitar_slinger
QC issues with Kimber have been much overstated in the gun forums. The external extractor (about 15 years ago now) was finicky but they went back to traditional 1911 extractor after a couple years. Kimber 1911 pistols are no more or less prone to hiccups than any other 1911. I have a Kimber Tactical Pro II and have about 800 rounds through it. Never had a problem. It just keeps going bang every time I pull the trigger. 100% reliable firearm. The only reason I don't carry it daily is it is heavier than my S&W Shield or my J-Frame.
