Yul Lose
I've had a 1873 Winchester on order from my LGS for nearly 18 months and have no idea when they'll come through. Late in December I saw that Barleycorn Outfitters had some 1873 Winchesters built by Miroku in 44-40. I would have been happy with one with a blued receiver and round barrel, but I decided to take what I could get and man am I glad I did. John Barleycorn was not joking when he said that these were nice rifles. Being a woodworker I appreciate beautiful wood and this rifle has some of the prettiest walnut that I've ever seen on one of these. Now, because it's so nice I don't know if I want to shoot it or not. A dilemma I'm not used to having.
El Hombre Sin Nombre
That's fantastic, but if you don't want to shoot it, I'll take her off your hands for you I've been planning to get one as well, but I just scored an uberti so I'll have that to tie me over until they're more readily available. In the meantime, I want to hear all about yours.
