They're bigger, smarter, stronger, faster, more aggressive and more affectionate than just about any mere feline. The dog got off lucky. Notice how the cat stayed between the threat and the principal. Nice tactical sense. Calam and I were once owned by a Maine Coon. Best damn cat ever.
