Mad Dog McGee
Pard of mine called me today and wants to ream his Ruger 40S&W cylinders out to 38-40. Who to send them to? Looked on cylinder-smith's web site , is he out of business, Thanks , MDM
Mustang Gregg
Run-N-Iron at Bertrand, NE does it, I recollect. Or try Wes Fargo of Cochise, AZ, also. They both are excellent with Ruger mods. You can use Bing to search the 'net for them. I don't know their address's right off. Mustang Gregg

Jess Money
I was under the impression that Wes Fargo (Wes Flowers) had retired. Was I misinformed?

Chili Ron
Howdy, Im under the impression that only a couple thousand 40 s&w vaqueros were made. It might be worth it to git another cylinder. Mine is accurate enuf that I hit 8 times out of 20 on a rifle target set out at 100 yards. That's a four inch barrel shooting offhand at 100 yards after a match. I wouldn't ream that cylinder on mine, no way. Best CR

The Original Lumpy Gritz
To do this correctly. You need a rotary table mounted to the table of your vertical mill. You want your cutter rpm well under 100rpm and drown it, as it's cutting with the best of cutting oil. Little cyl. polishing with scotchbrite when done and your GTG. Bulls Head Bill SASS#33692
Why not just get a .357 mag cylinder and ream/bore that one to 38-40 chamber and cylinder mouth dimensions?
Mad Dog McGee
Why not just get a .357 mag cylinder and ream/bore that one to 38-40 chamber and cylinder mouth dimensions? That might work, have to check into that. Thanks
