'Flying is flying. You can't add a lot to it,' Yeager said. Right.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 The pic is the X1A though, not Glamorous Glennis. Stoopid Limey paper.
Charlie Harley, #14153 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Chuck Yeager is one of the men I really really look up to.
Uncle Ethan # 94321 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Chuck Yeager is one of the men I really really look up to. Same here. Growing up in West Virginia one of my boyhood heroes.
Big Sage, SASS #49891 Life Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I have met Gen Chuck Yeager many times during my 40 years in aerospace. He was a speaker at our management club dinners several times and also a consultant for our company. He is a true gentleman and hero in every sense of the word. Read his book "YEAGER", it is a pretty good read too. I like him as a sportsman too....gotta like anyone who likes to hunt and fish as much as he does
