I always thought this little quote was *the* way to chew a subordinates behind in a military setting, when necessary. He doesn't cuss him, doesn't lower his stature, doesn't say something that would lead the subordinate to believe that he's lost all faith in his abilities. At the same time, he sure does make Lt Cohill know that he's not please with him. I've always thought this movie particularly showed how a leader should/could act.
