Subdeacon Joe Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Olympia police say a convenience store clerk foiled a robbery by smashing the crook over the head with metal folding chair. The would-be robber entered the 76th Gas Station at Pacific Avenue and Boulevard Road just before midnight on Wednesday. The man showed the clerk a knife and demanded money. As the man started to jump over the counter, one of the store's employees hit him in the head with the chair, according to police. The blow stunned the robber, knocking his sunglasses and hat to the ground. The employees told police the man then put his hat and sunglasses back on and walked out of store. The employee was not injured and police continue to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call OPD at 360-709-2793. Flashpowder Hal Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 That's way funny! I fill up my BBQ's propane bottle at that gas station, didn't realize they knew WWF-fightin' style
Paladin Gun For Hire Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Let's see, yea this might work, Paladin CHAIR FOR HIRE! Only problem I see is how am I going to carry all the chairs I need for a 6 stage match? Then ya got to think about how to reload them
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Only one way to load a chair; a big plate of Q, some cold libation and a big rump right in the middle. On hot sunny days, an umbrella is optional. Cushions optional also.
Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Still not as good as a .45 caliber 250 lump of lead at about 900+ fps in the chest. This uke may be mad enough to come back better armed and with friends.

I always remember a line by Henry Fonda in a movie," If a man is worth shooting, he is worth killing. Never have to look over your shoulder that way." Lot of wisdom there.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Of course the guy will probably get fired now.
Iron Pony Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Wonder if the clerk is a WWE fan, as they seem to do this a lot.
