Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Brown came today. Captain Jack was excited too. He got to bark and the Brown guy gave him a treat. Big thing in his life when Brown comes by. Got my gun toys. Now to play with them.

Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
The bore guide is so I don't spill Hoppe's in the action. I don't get that much action anymore. The flags are for shooting off the bench at a civilized shooting establishment. Besides they look cool. I am nothing if I ain't all over cool. The firing pin retainer is to hold the firing pin in the bolt when I shoot them hot Rigby rounds. No, you don't need one, but if you lose one, you need one. Got it? Not many 39As will go bang without a firing pin. Some don't go bang with a firing pin. The level, level is actual a level, level, level. But I was too lazy to type the third level. I never stutter. Sometimes I slur, but I never stutter. Chickasaw, you can remedy that. All you has to do is order something from the gun store.

Subdeacon Joe
The word on the cattle trail is that you sometimes lead yourself astray. Still Lent. No Pizza for BMC. See me in two weeks. How about a nice rosemary and sage focaccia, field greens salad with chickpeas and a lime vinaigrette? Or maybe a bowl of hummus, pita wedges, and a bowl of mixed olives and pickled vegetables? Sweetened mint tea to drink. Followed by greek coffee and either loukoumades or baklava. All vegan. Should be fine.

Class - is that the brown stuff we are ankle deep in? How do you want your tofu? And - idle curiosity here - why don't you like hummus? Or just not in the mood for it today? Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Hummus just never peaked my taste buds. Wife doesn't like it either. She is a green food eater. I am a red food eater. She likes lettuce and she likes spinach in her scrambled aigs. I like red meat and red meat in my red meat. Taters work tho. Hummas, not so much. I do like chick peas in my caesar's salad.

It is an acquired taste. I just made up a batch with chickpeas, olive oil, Italian dressing, garlic, a touch of salt, and some smoked paprika. Tasty. I know! A mock hot ham sandwich! Clean the gills out of portabella mushrooms and cut them into about 1/4 inch slices. Saute' them in some oil, add a touch of soy right towards the end of cooking. While they are cooking, get your bread ready - I like whole grain with mustard, mayo, lettuce and tomato. Add the hot mushroom slices and serve. Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Well, we are going for the Salmon burger with a caesar's salad tonight. Maybe on a bun. A good kaiser roll would be nice but I don't have one and I am not going out to get one.
