Noz Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I think this may be a trifle off subject but so what. I have Verizon wireless and it has been less than poor for 2 years. A friend asked me if I had updated the roaming program. Hunh? Dial *228 and select option 2. I went from no service/1bar to 5 bars by doing that. Unbelievable. I no longer have to go outside to talk to someone.

Complicated Lady Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I got all excited then remembered I have Sprint not Verizon. Anyone know how I would accomplish the same on Sprint? I'm getting tired of having to walk down my driveway to be able to talk on the phone. The neighbors look at my funny when I'm in my pjs.

Cash Duckett Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Thanks, Noz, worked for me too. I've had the same phone for about three years and it always fails on my way home as I get near the lake. Now it's strong all the way home. You da man! Hope to see you soon, Cash
Charlie Whiskers Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I have Alltel, which is now part of AT&T but not.Up here in Montana AT&T can't come into the state due to some agreement they made with the FCC.Used to have Verizon, but we couldn't get the package we wanted so we switched.I still get a kick out of that idiot wandering around with his "can you hear me now" BS.Let him try that up here in Mt and see how many pairs of shoes he wears out trying to get a signal.Alltel isn't any better.I guess you have to live in a state with a million people per square mile to get coverage as good as they ALL advertise.

Noz Posted December 29, 2010 Author Posted December 29, 2010 Don't you think that Verizon could tell us that? I've been to their stores and complained about the poor reception with no help from them.
