John E. Law Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 We lost another LEO and former Marine this past Wednesday night. 27 year old Orange County Deputy Sheriff Brandon Coats was shot in the head during a traffic stop. The suspect who was just released a few weeks ago, 3 years early on a 10 year sentence, drove a few blocks down the road and committed suicide. He had just celebrated his 1st wedding anniversary to another deputy. God bless them and all of my fellow LEOs out there. JEL Story here www.myfoxtampabay.com/dpp/news/

Fairshake Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I lost two riding partners during my time on the job and it sickens me every time I hear of another fallen brother. May he go with God and may his family be taken care of. Way too young to leave this Earth.
