  1. As Blackwater stated loading buckshot is a whole different animal. Because charge bars measure shot by volume, the actual weight of the shot charge will vary slightly depending on the size of the shot. So your bar will drop a heavier weight of #9 shot than #7.5. The slight variations are insignificant
  2. Shortwave Time Transmitters Even though several are on the same frequency, they have unique identifiers in their signal so you can tell which site you are receiving. Way back when, I had a time standard that had a receiver in it that would synchronize with WWVB or WWVH. To make it even more accurate, you could put in an offset to compensate for the propagation delay.
  3. Down load the manual and read up on how to adjust the crimp. Be aware that the settings for STS and Gun Club hulls will be slightly different than the settings for AA hulls. This is because AA hulls are shorter in length than STS hulls. The quality control of SG hulls is not very good these days. So don’t expect every hull to have a perfect crimp. Strive to get crimps that don’t allow any shot leakage.
  4. They should’ve let her land in Gaza. She needed some first hand experience with how Hamas treats loud mouthed opinionated females.
  5. I’ll take a pic tomorrow.
  6. I cut mine with a dremel and then used a little cold blue to touch it up.
  7. How could anybody not love Seamus? Just look at him.
  8. I like to have fun with the starting lines when I can. Several years ago, the stage included a swinging target and the line was supposed to be "I love swingers". I changed it to 'I don't swing that way but I hear XXXXX does" where XXXX was the TO's alias. This caused the TO to laugh so hard he dropped the timer.
  9. Check at Buc-ee’s. They sometimes have large straw hats.
  10. Ship my gun will give you an estimate on line. Probably the least expensive option.
  11. Actually it's 3 Cotton Pickers and a bulk cotton wagon..
  12. For those that had successful implants were they uppers or lowers?
  13. We would wedge a board in our water tanks so that any animals that fell in could get out. Saved a lot of chickens from drowning.
  14. The M61A1 CWIS (Phalanx) point defense weapon fires a 20 X 102 mm round with a rate of fire of 4500 rounds per minute. The latest variants have a variable rate of fire to conserve ammo as the drum only holds about 1500 rounds. Rounds for the naval version are either a Depleted Uranium sabot projectile or Armor Piercing Tungsten core projectile The Army put the M61A1 on a trailer and renamed them. The Centurian C-RAM is used to defend military compounds from mortar and rocket attacks. The the sea based version the land based variant fires High Explosive Incendary Tracer - Self Destruct (HEIT-SD) rounds that explode on impact with a target or self destruct when the tracer burns out to minimize down range casualties. The Navy briefly experimented with a 30mm version but decided the additional cost was not worth the benefit.
  15. They are using 4 M134 Miniguns. The M134 fires 7.62X51 NATO ammo. Depending on how the gun is configured, the rate of fire between varies 2000 and 6000 rounds per minute. At $1.30 a round with all 4 miniguns firing a 2000 rounds per minute, would cost $173 a second or $10,400 for a full minute. At 6000 rounds per minute, would cost $535 a second or $32100 for a full minute. Given the vast quantities of ammo needed to feed this beast, you would have to order ammo by the truck load. So, you could probably get the cost down below $1.00 a round.
  16. All modern fighter aircraft do not eject the spent shells. Fired rounds are returned to the ammunition drum. Depending on the helo, the gun(s) either eject the empty brass overboard or recover it into large containers to minimize the FOD hazard. Same is true for the AC-130.
  17. What is this rear sight you speak of? I replaced the front sight on my 20" Rossi with the same height Marbles large bead sight from Long hunter. At CAS distances, long as the bead is on the target it's a hit. On really small targets then I might have to actually use the rear sight. I cut the original buckhorn down even with the top of the sight notch. Turning it into a flat top.
  18. Part is held o by a 1/4" - 20 bolt. It does have a spacer that goes between it and the charge bar. It allows you to tighten the bolt without pinching the black part and causing problems. I may have an extra. I'll look and let you know.
