I reached out to EMF and discussed with them; they stated that the triggers were probably within specs. They wanted me to discuss the issue with Slick and the consensus was that indeed they do need some additional work to make the triggers suitable. I also discussed with Lassiter what the additional cost would be to make these "match ready" I again reached out to EMF and they had me return them for a full refund. I am satisfied with what they did to refund me the cost, but while these are really nice-looking guns with the barrels and the case hardening, they are not match ready out of the box. IMHO

picked mine up at the ohio state shoot. I am sadly disappointed. the triggers are 8-81/2 lbs on one and 7-8 lbs on the other. Everyone who felt them wondered if it had a safety on when they tried to dry fire. The actions are a bit stiff as expected for a brand-new firearm. I will be reaching out to EMF to see about returning these for service. Surely that is not within their specs. The case coloring is great, the grips are very grippy, sights are bright and come into view nicely and the octagon barrels are cool, but as is out of the box, these are nowhere near "match ready"

Dan is a great fellow to shoot with, makes excellent gear and consistently supports state and annual matches very generously. I have recommended him to many new shooters over the years, can say none of them ever had complaints

We sometimes include a single pop up flyer at Ohio state, the small cans of soda work great, you get more elevation than a full size can. When shaken up, they leave no doubt as to a hit or miss. My wife even painted the cans so the colors were consistent as we had trouble finding enough of the same brand. We also provided a separate sg knockdown as a make up target. But heck we also have a moving pendulum target, a plate rack and a tombstone rack. After all ACTION is the middle name.

Most likely at Piqua fish and game clubhouse if the back room doesn't get "rented"out. In which case it will be at a local Piqua hotel meeting room. We will keep everyone updated

How do you handle food at monthly matches?
mean gun mark replied to Duncan Disorderly's topic in SASS Wire
our club provides lunch after the match, my wife and I do the cooking, usually the day before and its stuff that can be served from a crockpot. From soups, sloppy joes, a chili cookoff, smoked brats and even just lunchmeat sandwiches, since we took over doing the lunch the feedback has been very favorable,
