  1. I don't think that dreaming of bathrooms is necessarily a good thing.
  2. "Normal Americans?" Seems like the majority of these "normal Americans" are college students or young adults that have either been brainwashed into believing the socialist/communist agenda taught by the universities/colleges of our own country or have been heavily influenced by agitators both foreign and domestic. I expect crap like this (not just the anti-Israel crap either) to get increasingly worse as election time grows closer...much worse.
  3. They must be moving to Pinellas County, Florida as the Sheriff's Dept. does enforce existing laws. Many of the PSO and local law enforcement have plate readers on their vehicles. These plate readers provide A LOT more information than just expired tags...A LOT more. I would like to see the exploding plates though. Do they actually explode or just catch on fire like Tesla's. Good thing that fuel fillers aren't behind the license plates still.
  4. Another supposedly anti-prejudice Randy Newman song is a song named Rednecks. When you read the lyrics to the song...it's hard to tell.
  5. I'd say..."OH HELL YEAH."
  6. You got Bactine? Lucky dog...we got the red/orange iodine if we were lucky. No iodine...straight to the 100 and something percent alcohol. Ahh....the good ole days.
  7. The rock world accepted CDB and MTB ten times more than the country music scene. Wasn't rock (to rockers) and wasn't country (to the country crowd) so they, along with others, initiated, what became known as, the country-rock era. A bunch of bands followed their footsteps and most contributed a ton of great music. IMO, the beginning of the end of "country-rock" began with the death of Duanne Allman and Lynyrd Skynyrd's plane crash sealed it. At least that's the way I see it.
  8. I think that Yul had them in the very first post. Edit - He did!
  9. Lobo Sweet Looking Glass Blues Image Zager and Evans Sniff N The Tears Rick Derringer Amboy Dukes Iron Butterfly Strawberry Alarm Clock Barry McGuire Edwin Starr The Ides of March Country Joe and the Fish
  10. I'm betting that either they don't know how to spell goggles or otto changed it. Maybe both.
  11. Maybe one - Pat Benatar. Like all things, depends on one's perspective.
  12. Without a doubt, Karen Carpenter and Cass Elliot were in a class of their own.
  13. More toxic than Camp Lejeune water ever was.
  14. Some names not mentioned but not really Rock, more like storytellers... Jim Croce Gordon Lightfoot Harry Chapin Bob Dylan Some Rock that were not mentioned (I think) Johnny Winter Edgar Winter Molly Hatchet Elton John Deep Purple Atlanta Rhythm Section Don't forget about the myriad of one hit wonders... Way too many to list!
  15. Just wait...if you have Citizens Insurance, Citizens (thanks to the Florida Legislature) is forcing all Citizens policy holder to purchase Flood Insurance regardless of home elevation. Whether you're 2' high or 200' high, it doesn't matter, get flood or get dropped. Ours is so high now that without a substantial drop next year, we will not be able to afford it any longer.
  16. That device they put in your vehicle does a lot more than just the things you've said. It also tracks your speed (knows if you're driving over the limit via gps), braking habits (late braking, heavy braking), acceleration (heavy on the gas when traveling, jackrabbit starts), idling habits while stopped, times of all travel, tracks your exact location at all times and various other types of data that I would consider intrusive overreach. It could also be used against you (or for you) in the event of a claim or incident. No way that I would sign up for it. Big brother at it's finest.
  17. I saw an interview with Bill Withers once. The interviewer told Mr. Withers that "Ain No Sunshine" wasn't proper use of the English language to which Mr. Withers replied "I know, I know, I know, I know, I know."
