Cahawbakid Posted January 25 Posted January 25 I’ve shot Land Run for several years now. When visiting, I have always stayed off site somewhere. This year I’m thinking of tent camping ,with a Friend, on site. I have only ever seen a handful of tenters in the past. The folks I saw were camped along the tree line between Hiawasse Rd and the range, essentially in the range parking area. If anyone could share their previous experience with 🏕️ on the Range, like where, is it grassy or rocky, how are the bathhouse facilities, etc I would appreciate it Quote
Scarlett Posted January 26 Posted January 26 @Razorback Red tent camped as did @Damascus Jon I know there were more there… but these are the two that I know. I believe there are showers in the club house where the big campers are down past Stage 12. Hugs! Scarlett 1 Quote
Dantankerous Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Major and I camped there several times during Red Dirt Rampage. We set up tents between the road and the treeline as you're headed back to the Cowboy clay range. Had plenty of room and was pretty quiet after hours. Can get dusty with road traffic however. The shower facility is an easy drive to the large RV side of the park. Tent camping there was quite enjoyable and made the stay easy. That said, we always had great weather during the Red Dirt match.
