Don Jorge Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Any news from Shot Show about a Lightning? Rumor on the Wire earlier indicated that it was a possibility.
Hashknife Cowboy Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Pietta Firearms had a booth at Cowboy Christmas which is a part of the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas and shared with me a Lightning was on schedule for release in 2026. And that was all he knew, so I was told. At this point I feel it is a rumor although they had many fine firearms on display to handle and examine. We'll see.... https://piettafirearms.com/
Cholla Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Pedersoli has two versions this year. One traditional in 45 Colt and one modern in 44 magnum. I did a short video for GUNS on YouTube.
H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 .44 Magnum? That would be of interest to me. Pedestal... Assuming that is a typo for Pedersoli, I googled .44 Magnum Lighting Shot Show and found this... https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/shot-2025-pedersoli-makes-pump-action-rifles-great-again-44818438 Sadly, it looks like the .44 Magnum is only available in a modernized version of the gun, and not a regular one. Bummer.

Bummer. Yes, they strengthen the receiver to handle to extra stress.

Yul Lose Posted January 25 Posted January 25 I do believe that there is a .44magnum Pedersoli Lightning on my shopping list in the not to distant future. I do like their Lightnings.
