this is the one that introduced "the animals" , they played we gotta get out of this place and inside out - that second one i was not as familiar with - must not have liked it back then cause i didnt like it tonight , wasnt bad ....just not good , the other i always liked , but i was never a real crazy animals fan , i liked the doors and the moody blues a lot ,

I remember when he introduced the Beatles. I was just starting to play drums and had a little band. 3 of us, guitar, bass and drums. At that time I never saw a self contained band it was all singers and singing groups. The musicians were never really shown.

I met them in 1964 at a Capitol Records press/DJ party.  I had their autographs, which I gave to a girl later on.

To me Eric Burdon is one of the all time under rated singers. House of the Rising Sun, When I Was Young, Spill the Wine with War. A bunch of great songs and vocal performances.
