Did you know that tossing something in a croc’s or alligator’s mouth will cause it to close its mouth? Supposedly a handful of sand, dirts, sticks tossed in an attacking gators mouth may save you from being bitten. 
Also, they cannot run zigzag.

We don't have a lot of gators or crocs in Arizona but I'll keep this in mind.....just in case.
