Frederick Jackson Turner Posted April 30 Share Posted April 30 The Cajon Cowboys did a wonderful job once again, hosting the California State SASS Championships, Weather was California perfect on Saturday and Sunday, the stages were fun'n'fast, and the banquet was one of the most delicious I have ever tasted. There was even some guy with a guitar entertaining the banquet with his songs based on the adventures and misadventures of cowboy action shooting! The weather on Friday is going to go down in the books, though...yikes! it was warmer in Montana. But for all the hardy souls that braved it, and then slipped out of their long johns and slapped on suntan lotion, the weekend was a great one. Many props to the participants, especially the up and coming first-time category champs !
