Fireball #7709 Life Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Several years ago I ran into a guy that could source some sheephorn big enough to make grips for my Ruger Bisleys. I had enough made to complete all my "keeper" guns. In the interim, I ran across 2 pair of Sambar, which I prefer, so these 2 pair were never used. They are pictured on the only stock Bisley frame I have, as can be seen, they have some over/under hang as pictured. I fit all my natural material grips, so this never bothered me, but just being clear these aren't perfect fit grips and may need to be fit/adjusted/etc. $300 shipped for the 4 slabs and 2 screws(2 guns), price is what I have in them and is firm. First I'll take it posted here gets it. I prefer Paypal friends and family, but a personal check snail mailed will do. Thanks for looking.
Bear Run Butch Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Fireball can I make the assumption they are for original Vaquero's. Butch

Butch The Bisley frame is the same, for grips, between new vaqueros and original vaqueros.(excepting minor production/finishing variances)
Bear Run Butch Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Fireball I did not know that thank you. Butch

Bear Run Butch Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 no not swapping just looking at possibilities of different grips for my OMV Bisley's. Butch
Hoss Posted March 1, 2024 Posted March 1, 2024 I have big horn grips on my bisleys. I really like them. In summertime when hands are sweaty the grip gets “tacky” not slippery! (I suppose if it ever rains again they would do the same with rainwater!)

I noticed that at EOT in Indianna when we had the torrential rain, as my current main match guns have them on it. Nice looking guns you have there!

Waimea Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 If you don't sell them here bring them to Ides. If I put them on my guns I won't want to take them off, I'm thinking.
Capt'n Rudy Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 I’ll take ‘em. Just too fine to pass up. Let’s coordinate by PM. Thanks, Capt’n Rudy

Thanks, Capt’n Rudy Hey Capt, get ready to get a bunch of compliments on your guns! I asked the guy who made mine “are they durable?” He replied, you ever see what sheep do with them?!! enjoy the grips.
Pa_Renegade Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 Great looking grips but I’m looking at an old post of yours for the pair of Buckeye 32’s. Did you sell them?
