Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933 Posted March 1, 2024 Author Posted March 1, 2024 Found this on YouTube. The wind noise is bad but it shows a little of the work that has to be done to set-up EOT. Ben Avery is a public range so everything has to be hauled from storage set-up and then taken down when the match is over. After years of doing this set-up usually takes four days and take-down a day and one-half.
Sixgun Seamus Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 Wow!! What took us almost a week to put up and get ready is all packed and put away by 2:30 pm on Monday.
Sixgun Seamus Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 Elvis has left the building. Thank You and Good Night. Hope to see you all next year if not sooner.
Mogollon Munk,SASS#303 Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 The only structural failure I saw was that the kind Rotary people collecting $ from spectators didn't have any shade. The lady I dealt with had only a parasol to shelter her from the elements. We used to have a plywood structure for them. They at least need an awning or pop-up. Otherwise it looked great! My .02 worth
Rattlesnake Slim Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 The Rotary had a 10'x10' tent in the parking area.

Rattlesnake Slim Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 Well it's impossible to set up a 10'x10' tent on the road. The tent gets put where the Rotary asks for it.

Two Dot, 14911 Posted March 6, 2024 Posted March 6, 2024 The chickens are there. They are on pneumatic racks along with the pigs, turkeys and rams.
