"After nearly two weeks of temperatures never exceeding 0°F, Icebreaker Mackinaw is hove to in Lake Michigan for ice liberty about 20 miles west of Beaver Island. The bright reflective sunshine and 30° temps seemed like the perfect time to regain some color. Circa 1986. Photo from my archives."
