Subdeacon Joe
Other than seeing little or no "driftwood" in it, not a bad description: Quote Built out of driftwood, likely collected from the waves below, the shack appears to have several rooms and rises over three levels on the steep San Mateo County rock face. Among the wood and ropes are a boxing punching bag, several buoys, some old signs and what appears to be a fully enclosed room. A solitary wooden chair also faces the Pacific, its back to rocks — hard to imagine how exposed that seat must feel in storms and high seas; or how beautiful the sun looks, setting over the Pacific.
Michigan Slim
Driftwood can be dimensional lumber too. An incredible amount floating around.
Pat Riot
Gawd, that music SUX! Well, now they’ve done it. The tax assessor will be along soon followed by Code Enforcement. Then the people in charge of deeds will dispute the ownership and use of the land. The bureau of coastal properties will get involved as well as emergency services as they cannot easily access the abode. Then demolition will be planned but an injunction will be filed as the people who built it now have squatter’s rights. Someone will claim the shack and push for donations on FB and GFM and money will roll in. Then it will be found that the person claiming they own it and taking money is in fact, not the owner, the state is and that person will be assessed fees and penalties in excess of the money taken in by 50%. Then, out of the blue, it will be discovered that the shack was actually built by illegal aliens and at that point they will be granted a deed and will henceforth receive tidy sums of money every month and all property taxes will be waved. Ah, ain’t America wonderful? 2
