Tequila Shooter Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 Selling a unique 1860 steel side chambered in .45C. What makes this unique is the engraving on the side plates, the side plates are replaceable. This is the long barrel model (24 inches), it easily holds 10 rounds. The gun has been short stroked by Cody Conager and runs very well. I’ve shot 2 matches since the short stroke and it’s great to be able to hold it close to the receiver and not have the lever hit your hand. The buttstock has a couple of small dings as shown in the pictures. Price is $1,500. + shipping FFL to FFL. NEW PRICE $1,400 SHIPPING INCLUDED.
Nostrum Damus SASS #110702 Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 Awesome engraving on the side plates. Reminds me of my son's tattoos on the backs of his calves, ships' red and green running lights, red on port, green on starboard. Not entirely accurate because you can see both colors when standing straight behind him but he didn't like the idea of getting his shins tattooed.

I think visible 12.5 degrees off dead center is the sidelight rule. (Been a long time since I sat for my USCG license!)
Nostrum Damus SASS #110702 Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 I stand corrected. He had them put on the sides of his calves at the proper orientations. He says they are not easily enough seen from off his bow, though.
