Chief Rick
From the shooter's handbook: Quote Leather Rules: - Buscadero holster rigs or drop holster rigs are required. All revolvers must be carried below the top of the gun belt. - All belt and holster rigs must be embellished (fancy stitching, Conchos, spots, or tooling). - No shoulder rigs allowed. I can't recall seeing a B-Western competitor using a cross-draw holster. Edit to clarify - my question is whether a cross-draw holster is legal for B-Western? Itchy Trigger
I believe that the majority of America "believed" that it was not legal while it was being used in California for many years. Just recently it has become much more common in the rest of the US. But I will let the authorities give the precise answer.
Griff
I believe that as long as the grip is below the top of the belt it qualifies.
Abilene Slim SASS 81783
I don’t know how that would work with a buscadero rig, which is required by the category. Never seen or heard of it done.
