Nice! Did you use Flitz?? I used that on a USFA Rodeo years ago and it came out pretty good too!

I used sandpaper to get bead blast out and smooth the metal started with 320 and ended with 2000 by hand . It looks better in person I can’t take good pics

I had some 1851 grip frames and got the idea to see if they would fit put the brass ones on the 1851 ‘s turned out pretty good anything was better than the dull finish I thought I could live with it but I couldn’t do it
