Renegade Ripley
Need a powder load for 2 1/2 inch low brass 410 hulls for a Buckaroo I have Red Dot and Promo powder and see no data for these powders anybody ever use above powders? Thanks Renegade Ripley
Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933
The reason you see no data is because neither of those powders are suitable for the .410. Go to the Hodgdon or Alliant websites and look at their loading data. .410s use powders like 296, 110 or 410.
Michigan Slim
The .410 uses slow pistol powders such as those listed by Larson. Luckily they become available quite often. I just got several pounds of H110 directly off the Hodgen website not long ago.

Choctaw Jack
I've used both H110 and 410 in 1/2 ounce loads. Both worked really well.

Skullbone Willie
I load my 410 Skeet shells with W296 or H110 with the recipe that you can locate on the Hodgen website.
watab kid
if it were me id have him shoot a 20 or a 12 and download for that to his needs ...much easier and cheaper plus it can follow him forward in this game , there is no problem loading 410 loads in 12 ga - i do it all the time , the shotguns are available and te hulls are plentiful ,
