Dantankerous
I see you are in Minnesota. If you are ever near the town of Walker up North on Leech Lake stop in to Reed's Sporting Goods store. Their firearm selection is quite impressive. You could probably find what you're looking for there. I hear mostly good things about both the Heritage and Ruger .22 caliber single actions. Tulsey, SASS#11236
Academy and Atwoods around here often have good prices on new Heritage and Ruger Wranglers. The only bad thing I could say about Heritage is you have to remember to check the safety is off before your time to shoot
Splitthumb
The Ruger Wranglers are a deal at the new price of roughly $200.00 , you can exchange the hammer and trigger springs with Wolff springs . The 30 oz. trigger springs are nice or with one leg only , you have roughly 16-18 oz trigger . The 14 lb. hammer springs will fire most 22 ammo (7 different brands that I tried) If you polish the hammer & sear , that makes a big difference shooting them. The real challenge is polishing the gate to make it easy to open . It will hurt your thumb nail when first opened .
