Hogleg Hunter Posted May 3, 2021 Posted May 3, 2021 This is a used Safir T-14 upper for an AR-15 chambered for .410 shotshell. I bought it years ago (10+ years) to mate with a lower that I had. Never did it so its time to move on. Price $250 + actual shipping. Might trade for something of interest. Hogleg
Crazy Gun Barney, SASS #2428 Posted May 3, 2021 Posted May 3, 2021 For 410 shotshells? Interesting. Is this for a AR15 lower or a AR10 lower? I wouldn't think a AR15 magwell would be deep enough for a 410 shell.
Chert Rock Chuck Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Looks like maybe a 10 round magazine...? With this upper, bolt, and mag, would a typical AR15 lower be all that is required to have a running weapon? Thanks

It requires specific shotshells along with stronger buffer spring for reliable function.
Cat Brules Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 I’m interested, and I wouldn’t want any surprises, either. i have a functioning AR-15. —- Will what you have mate seamlessly with my existing AR-15 To create a functional .410 gauge shotgun, or would additional parts be necessary? —- Would any functional, permanent alterations to my AR-15 lower be required that would eliminate my being able to reinstall my AR-15 parts to go back to the caliber .223, AR-15 configuration? —- How many .410 magazines do you have? Hogleg Hunter Posted May 7, 2021 Author Posted May 7, 2021 No modification to the AR lower. Two pins to take the AR upper off and 2 pins to attach the .410 upper. No additional parts needed. These are sensitive to shell length. Google "Safir T-14 shell length". There are a bunch of articles on this. I have one 8 round magazine.
