El CupAJoe Posted January 20, 2021 Posted January 20, 2021 Do Kirinite, Acrylic and other fancy resins comply with the Simulated materials clause under stocks and grips? Here's an example i'm thinking about picking up for when I make my Remmie a birds head
The Original Lumpy Gritz Posted January 20, 2021 Posted January 20, 2021 Become very slippery with sweaty hands in the summer heat/humidity. OLG
Yul Lose Posted January 20, 2021 Posted January 20, 2021 I’m experimenting with dyed, fractal burned tamarind for gun grips. Here is a box lid lift that I just finished.
Hoss Posted January 20, 2021 Posted January 20, 2021 Yes, legal. I don’t care for the non-natural looking ones tho. If I were in charge, a plastic or resin grip would have to look like either the black gutta percha or similar materials as used on old handguns. Or wood, or ivory. But not multi-colored swirled together. But it ain’t gonna ruin my day if you have them!
El CupAJoe Posted January 20, 2021 Author Posted January 20, 2021 I'll probably keep the wood ones and switch them out depending on what I'm doing with it at the time.
