DocWard
One of my childhood heroes, along with Bench, and the rest of the Big Red Machine. I daresay there wasn't a kid growing up in that era who was a Reds fan who didn't do Joe's "arm flap" at least once while batting on a sandlot somewhere. Probably some non-fans too. I know I did. Charlie Harley, #14153
I was ten years old in Dayton, Ohio when the Big Red Machine won the first of two World Series. Joe and the rest of them were my heroes. Rest In Peace, Mr Morgan.
