Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438
Hadn't seen Rio Lobo in some time, so I pulled it up on Amazon and started watching. Got to the scene where John Wayne is in the sheriff's office in Blackthorne, TX, when I noticed a Wanted poster on the wall behind Wayne. One of the posters was for ...Hondo Lane...a character Wayne played in the film Hondo. Neat coincidence, or an inside joke. LL
DocWard
I have to believe it was an inside joke. I'll have to look for it next time it is on.
Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474
Good catch. I have most of The Dukes films on DVD and, when staying overnight on the range prior to a SASS match, we watch them. Just to into the mood! Sure wish we could get out for some fun here. I feel your pain. Our State Match was supposed to be this weekend. I requested time off well in advance.
