Boulder Canyon Bob# 32052L
IMR lists 4.0 to 5.0 gr of Trail Boss for a 200 gr bullet. I load 4.2.

Baltimore Ed
I use the same powder charge of Clay Dot in my 45lc [200-250 gr], 44-40 [210 gr]and 45s&w [160-200 gr] to keep things simple but in the s&w drop the bullet weight to 160 as in the smaller case it’s recoil is too sharp and hurts my knuckles shooting my schofield. To me it’s easier to keep the powder as universal as possible between similar cases and just change the bullet weight. I use the heavier bullets in my rifles. I’m about out of Clay Dot so I’ll have to switch to Clays soon. I’ve got a gifted keg of Bullseye so I might experiment with it this year.
