1886 Springfield trapdoor - Sold to IR - Thank you

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Nice original Springfield Trapdoor rifle made in 1886 - I do not see the cartouche on the stock so I'm guessing at some point it was lightly refinished. Would be great for Cavalry or Indian War reenactment or for SASS long range. Asking $625 $550 plus shipping, thanks for looking.

Bore is very nice with strong rifling - I have never shot it but I expect it would be quite accurate, thanks

Jersey Kid,

The rear sight vintage is 1879- 1883.

Looks like a really fine rifle!
