Saw an advertisement for a lighted camera on a cable to look at a clogged drain or behind the refrigerator so thought it'd be a good way to see the inside of a musket barrel etc

That's a great idea Trigger Mike. Beats the cost of a bore scope.

 

Here is a good one that I found on Amazon. It has an 8.5mm camera diameter and works with a non iPhone phone, tablet or laptop.

I bought one from harbor freight.  it's too big to look down the barrel of most rifles, but it might work on a musket.  I should try it on my 45 and 50 cal rifles.  It's intended for looking at engines, but I have found other uses for it.

I got one but the focus was off because of the very close up view I was wanting.
