Last night my wife and I watched A Christmas Carol, with George C. Scott as Scrooge. It was a very well done production. It put me in the mood for Christmas this year, as if my Greatgrand kids couldn't.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND GOD BLESS US, EVERY ONE!

In my mind, THE ABSOLUTE BEST production of A Christmas Carol EVER!!

My favorite version. I hope I get the chance to sit down and watch this year.

I like the classic with Alastair Sim. Glorius black and white.

Jacob Marley's ghost scared the bejeebers out of me as a kid!

Problem is I can't see Patton as Scrooge.

Scott went from one to the other seamlessly!!

I agree with Backwater, Scott made the transformation quite well. One of the things that

came out to me, was how he reacted to each issue. Denial, self justification, and even when

the facts were before his eyes, he did not want to accept them. And then. like the Grinch,

his heart melted and he became a human being. I thought it was great. I hope you all

enjoy it as well.

But then, a GOOD thespian can do that.
