Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933 Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 There's a guy over on YouTube that does nothing but put things in an hydralic press. IPhones, watches, you name. Here's one where he puts some shot shells and cartridges in the press. Shows the importance of a good crimp.
Goody, SASS #26190 Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I found myself leaning away from the screen at first.
Al OVERA, SASS#26238 Life Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 About as educational as watching a political debate.
Blastmaster Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Primer didn't even go off. Why is it so easy to do it with a Dillion? LOL
Kid Rich Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 If you watch closely on the shots straight on the reflection on the side of the press shows a door opening after the press stops moving down. kR
Dutch Wheeler Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 Interesting way to spend your time. I was shocked that the primers didn't go BANG!
Captain Long Story, US Cavalry Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 I took one look at who created this thread and thought it was going to be about replicating those funky compressed BP cartridges the British were messing with in the 1880s. http://www.gundigest.com/gun-collecting-firearm-collecting/britains-black-powder-303-the-lee-metford
Boon Doggle Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 I just wasted six + minuets of my life, because????
Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933 Posted May 7, 2016 Author Posted May 7, 2016 I just wasted six + minuets of my life, because???? You had six minutes to waste? I thought anything was better than another 12 page what's the call or more rank points vs. total time argument. A change of pace and some quiet time.
Kid Rich Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Thanks fer postin that Larsen I wish he could have sped up the press to see at what point he could have had detonation. kR
