Tom Bullweed
Winchester 1873 Third Model rifle in .32WCF (.32-20) for sale. Made in 1891. 24.5" barrel, adjustable sights, all original except lever screw (I think that I have the buggered original). Has dust cover. Bore is a 6 of 10 but shoots nice groups with 110 grain lead bullets. No action modifications. Nice grain on the buttstock. Comes with about 130 reloaded rounds and Lee dies. $1800 plus shipping to your FFL. This is the best of my original Winchesters. I need to fund a couple of recent Colt purchases. Similar guns online for $2500-plus. My FFLs do not ship to Ca. Please know your local laws. Mag holds 12. Email for photos.

No cracks, splits or chips. Finish is 60% or better. Finish is missing on the side plates, where the gun was likely carried. I can do FTF within 100 miles of central NC with a concealed carry. You can even try the gun if you wish.
jrswanson1
Since it was made prior to 1899, no need for an FFL.
Tom Bullweed
Thank you for the thought Jr, but it is not quite correct. I know that you are trying ro aid this sale. The ATF code defines an antique as made before 1898 AND does not use ammunition currently made in the US, according to Gunbroker and a quick internet search. Midway USA list current supplies of newly made .32-20 from Black Hills, Remington, Winchester, Ten-X and Ultra-Max. They do not list Georgia Ammo, who also loads this cartridge commercially. FFL transfer is required unless face-to-face.
El Hombre Sin Nombre
I'm pretty sure it's OR not and. You might want to take a look at the ATF website rather than gunbroker. As for the gun, if I hadn't just bought a 73 in 38-40, I would be all over this. Timing is everything I suppose.
Neches 50502
No ffl needed to ship to non liberal states
cowrustler
Ammunition availability has nothing to do with it. It's the date of manufacture and in this case, no ffl is required.
Tom Bullweed
I have mixed feelings about the post hijacking. It does act as a BTT, but it also may confuse a buyer. My gun being sold by me requires an FFL transfer. Please start another post in the saloon if you wish to wish discuss this topic further. This post is about letting another cowboy enjoy a great rifle.
