WTS. Revolving Carbine -- Period Correct but not SASS Legal

Recommended Posts

In order to finance my new flintlock I'm reluctantly parting with my revolving carbine.

Remington model 1866 (often mistakenly referred to as a model 1858 because it is based on the Remington model 1858 revolver.)

Very nice gun and a lot of fun to shoot.

The cylinder has been professionally machined to accept a Ted Cash capper.

There is some light scoring on the cylinder. Other than that it's in excellent condition.

Manufacturer: Uberti of Italy

Caliber: .44 - Black Powder Only

Sights: Semi-buckhorn rear, adjustable for elevation

Dovetail front with brass bead.

Barrel: 18" Tapered Octagon

Lists for $550.oo - $700

Asking $425.oo + $25 shipping

Please pass this on to anyone who might be interested.

Sorry you can't see them. I sent you a PM.

I just opened the pictures from a different computer and different account and it worked fine. Don't know what else I can do other than email them to you.

Dam Suggs shot one in Lonesome Dove!

Mine has a conversion cylinder, so I can shoot cartridges out of it.

They are a hoot to shoot!

Just watch where you put your off hand!

I use my left hand to support my right. It's similar to that of a two handed pistol hold only a lot more stable.

Yep.........My first finger of my right hand is my trigger finger.

I put my second finger in the curl at the back of the trigger guard & pull the gun tight to my shoulder.

My left hand is cupped over my right, supporting it.

The gun is very light, and this works very well.
