Missouri Marshal SASS #50682 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Lots of good ones for sure! I have always enjoyed Rio Bravo. That's my favorite
Seamus McGillicuddy Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Quiet Man She Wore a Yellow Ribbon True Grit (even with no Victor McLaughlin) Seamus
Aunt Jen Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 I go back to "In Harm's Way." I think it was good John Wayne and a good film---though, as much as I DO like Kirk Douglas, I did NOT like his role in it: a competent Navy O-6, but also a rapist.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Not The Conqueror and probably not Jet Pilot.

I think it was good John Wayne and a good film---though, as much as I DO like Kirk Douglas, I did NOT like his role in it: a competent Navy O-6, but also a rapist. And alcoholic. That's why they killed the character off in the end.
Smuteye John SASS#24774 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Not The Conqueror and probably not Jet Pilot. Oh, come on, Bob. Those are the two best comedies that the Duke ever starred in.
Alpo Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I like Jet Pilot. It is miles above The Iron Petticoat, which is the same movie, with Bob Hope playing Duke's part.
