We have enough ice to get out on the channels now. But it is currently 6 degrees and I aint a gonna do it. But crappies? You bet! Supposed to warm up this weekend some. Hoping for gills, crappies, bass and maybe a pike. I have got to do better on the ice than I did in deer season.

Just got back from Duvall. Snoqualmie is running very high and dark and there are

trees floating in it. Not a real good sign.

Looks like no fishing for a few day at least.

Trees behind are bad for the backcast. Trees going by in front? Yeah, that bad too!

I reckon I never have seen a good thing come out of floating trees on an open river.

Now working the hills for lumber might be a different thing but not on an open river.

timber and moving water don't mix well

I have seen boats , pulled down by trees running up the anchor lines , boats flipped by trees , and several other UGLY problems

Now, gentlemen! We are no longer able to call it an ASIAN carp. It is the silver carp now so as not be racist....

Your looking at the picture all wrong. Just think of all the inner city po folks that would benefit by your donated carp catching.
