Yellowhouse Sam # 25171
Yeah, I'm way behind but are any being offered aftermarket or are they all sold and gone? I came into a birdshead Ruger Vaquero that would benefit from the lower hammer spur.
Sedalia Dave
Keep an eye out at Brownells and Midway. They get them in from time to time. Way cheaper than buying on the wire classifieds. As a matter of fact they are currently backorderable.
Tyrel Cody
Did you try calling Ruger?
Chili Ron
Howdy, Call Ruger, Midway, Brownells and anyone else who works on Rugers. Batches are made, they sell em, they run out and eventually another batch comes along. They are supposed to drop in but most seem to need some fitting. Unless you MUST, just wait for the next batch. Dusty Sometimes
I have gunsmithed a set of Bisley hammers for my Ruger NMVs by grinding 1/8" off the back strap after I gave up looking for Montado/SBH and shot them for 6 months. I just installed short-stroke kits and sold the Bisleys on eBay. Of course now Bisley hammers are hard to find.
