"Ex" vs. "X" Know the difference.

An X is an unknown.

 

An Ex is a has-been.

I thot an X marked the spot!

 

Never did figure out what the spot was,

but Mrs. Badger sed to get it out of the carpet.

 

 

P.S. I always try to do what Mrs. Badger suggest that I do.

EXPERT:

 

ex = something that once was but is no longer

 

spurt = a drip under pressure

 

Explains a lot about governments in general. Too many experts.................!

As for X marking the spot, I read once that the process for having a latrine while camping is;

1. dig the hole

2. use it

3. fill it in

4. place two crossed sticks over the former site of the latrine.

 

Hence X marks the spot of buried not so treasure.

Ya. Still scary people. I don't even know why i opened this again. It isn't like I really needed to read the replies.

 

Kinda like seeing a wreck on the highway, no matter what, you almost have to look.
