SouthwestShooter
Just got some Tin Star powder but can only find datafor 45's with 250 grain bullets and 38's in 158 grain. Does anyone have a suggestion where I can get more data for lighter bullet loads like 200 or 185g in 45 and 124g in 38? Thanks. Anvil Al #59168
Dirty nasty stuff. The company is NO HELP at all for load data or anything else. Finally worked me up some loads. And it was so dirty and nasty that I ended up giving it away.

Ocee Dee
Earlier this spring I switched from 200 gr to 250 gr bullets for 45 Colt. When I worked up the load I used both Trailboss and Tin Star. The Trailboss load is at max, and the Tin Star load is under minimum. Both shoot to point of aim, but the Tin Star load seems to have a bit more recoil. The Tin Star load is noticeably cleaner burning and leaves less powder fouling, although I have not found that it saves any time cleaning so I would call it a draw. I intend to work up a similar Tin Star load for 38/357 in the future if Tin Star continues to be available.
