Come On Christmas Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 What is a good one to look at? Are Crescent pop guns any count? They is a Winchester with a chipped up stock for $60 on Gunbroker. Plastic wood, sand, black or brown spray paint. What single 12 bore with ejector you got. Want for SASS jollies. Crayfish
Charlie Harley, #14153 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 The H&R Topper, which I think is now called the "Handi Rifle" is a good choice. Wish I still had mine. I have an old Crescent SxS that is good.
Charlie Harley, #14153 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Yes. They have ejectors, not extractors. http://www.hr1871.com/Firearms/Shotguns/topper.asp
Come On Christmas Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 Yeah, I went to the site too. I have a NEF 10 gauge Turkey Gun that has the extractor, that is why I was surprised.
Springfield Slim SASS #24733 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 The older ones have ejectors, but they have been dropped from all the newer Handi/Buff Classic rifles.
Come On Christmas Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 It's fun to eject! What other single shot shotgun ejector models are out there?
Tequila Jim #14501 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I have an ols Springfield mfg. by Stevens. It ejects good, evethe brass shells. TJ
Grumpy Old Man Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I have an H&R goose gun. Pops em out purty good.
Three Foot Johnson Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 If there are no objections to the external modification, I shoot this 12g Davenport every once in awhile. I've got a 20g H&R that makes it to a match every now and then too.
