Grizzly Dave
Bait fishing is my kind of fishing, throw it out, pull it taut, stick a finger across the line and take a nap. Works great until yer buddy grabs yer line and yanks and ya drop your pole in the freezing cold lake and fall in after it.

Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Well, if the rivers don't clear and I don't get blown away tonight, I might go. Probably leave the fly rod at home and use that new 9 ft spinning rod an reel I bought two years ago andf have never used. Had to buy a new reel because the foot on the old one would not fit the new rod. Bought a new Shimano Sahara. Sweet little coffer grinder reel. Chickasaw Bill SASS #70001
BMC I much prefer baitcasting reels to spinning reels , Dad almost always used spinning reels , I will use spinning outfits , for crappie , bream , and trout , if NOT using a Flyrod anything bigger , a baitcaster is the way to go IMO CB

Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Clear and cool supposed to be in the high 60s and sunny today. Being it is Saturday, and the silvers are in, I doubt that you can find the bank of the river for the fishermen... Maybe Monday. Something else to worry about.
